Nice place, good location. Lots to do within an hour and a half. The beach of Veillon (10mn by car): magnificent. Les Sables d'Olonne (also 10 mn away) and a lot of activities, visits...

The Veillon beach is beautiful and is less than 10 minutes drive away. Be careful with the available places or foresee 4 euros for the car park (subject to availability too). The fishmonger "Céline and Daniel CAUDAL" on the road to the beach: we have a very good display, good value for money.

For beaches: Jard sur Mer and La Faute sur Mer are absolutely essential. The Automobile Museum is worth a visit and so is Talmont Castle.

To do: the Vendée aquarium of course (when the weather is bad), but don't expect something extraordinary, the tour is completed in 1 hour. Enough for the children. Hooked on Les Sables it's good for the whole family
