The region of Emilia Romagna lies to the north-east of Italy. One hour from Parma and Modena, this fascinating city with an exceptional heritage is an ancient Roman city that still today abounds with many remains of this period. Capital of the region, Bologna is both stimulating and surprising. Cradle of student and cultural life, many artists, philosophers and scholars lived there, from Dante to Mozart and Copernicus.
