One of the city's most popular monuments is located in the "Port Bo" district : its promenade by the sea is covered with astonishing white vaulted arches, called "Las Vueltas". The "Camino de Ronda" is a walking, cycling or horse-riding trail that connects the various towns and coves along the coastline, allowing you to discover all the magnificence of these breathtaking landscapes. The beaches of "En Calau" and "Port Bo" will be perfect for family sunny afternoons. This last one (also called "Platja de las Barques" because of the small coloured boats which mark out its seaside) will amaze you thanks to its rocky seabed and its transparent waters, paradise of the divers. More surprising still, the beach of "El Golfet" : wild and quite far from the center of Calella, it is certainly one of the most beautiful beaches of the Costa Brava. The restaurant "Le Calau" (tapas) is excellent! The coastal paths (example: between Calella and LLafranc) are worth a visit. The botanical garden is superb.
