The village of O Pindo is located in the northwestern part of Spain, in the Galicia region. Between sea and mountains, O Pindo offers a wide range of activities for holidaymakers in love with nature.

With the Pindo Mountains and the blue of the sea as a backdrop, the small Galician town of O Pindo has a dream setting for both winter and summer holidays. The city has no particular historical or architectural interests, if one comes to O Pindo it is above all for its beaches and its many hiking possibilities. A small fishing village, O Pindo is known as the starting point for many itineraries of walks through its hills and cliffs that line the coast and the turquoise sea. To make the most of your excursions, we still recommend that you bring good shoes, because of the granitic and sometimes chaotic soil that covers the valleys. These strange hills, they are nicknamed "El Olimpo Celta", understand the "Celtic Olympus", because of the amazing natural sculptures made of granite that dot the entire O Pindo massif. We particularly recommend you to try the ascent of the Pindo mountain which, from its 627 metres of altitude, reaches the sea and the most beautiful beaches of the province of A Coruña. If hiking is not your thing, you can always opt for a short walk to the Mirador de Ézaro (just under 5 kilometres from O Pindo): from the latter, you can enjoy incomparable views of the mountains, the port and the sea. If the visit is worth the effort, we assure you that at sunset, the scene is magical! Not far away, the small village of Ézaro at the foot of the mountain is also worth a visit, especially for its magnificent waterfall: 40 metres high, it flows into the sea offering a dazzling spectacle for those onlookers!

To discover all the beauty of O Pindo's beaches, there is nothing better than an excursion on its coastal paths: from Puerto del Pindo to Punta da Crucina, via Punta Rabela, Punta do Fornelo and Punta do Sinal, you can visit all the most beautiful coves in the resort. At the foot of the small colourful houses, Praia do Pindo is certainly the most popular beach, although not very popular: pleasant and made of white sand, it is appreciated for its dream setting in the hollow of the mountains. 14 kilometres away, Carnota beach is also worth a visit: the largest beach in Galicia, it is 7 kilometres long and more than one kilometre wide. Renowned for its calm, its protected reserve and its dunes (bird paradise), it will allow you to take long idleness breaks to bubble and sunbathe under the Spanish sun.

Finally, on holiday in O Pindo, it is impossible to miss the delights of Galician gastronomy. Seafood, scallops, Galician octopus, squid, tapas, empanadas, caldeirada (local bouillabaisse), potato chorizo, deli meats, Padron peppers, local cheeses such as "queixo do Cebreiro" and "queixo de tetilla", but also caldo gallego and tarta de Santiago will satisfy the most gourmet among you!
