Finally, staying in Torre del Mar is also the perfect opportunity to taste the delights of Spanish cuisine. The province of Malaga and Andalusia are known for their gourmet flavours, but it is also difficult to leave Torre del Mar without falling in love with local cuisine. On the menu? Goat cheese, espetos (roasted sardines), raisins, sweet local wine, olives, chestnuts, fig bread, Algarrobo pancakes, "ajobacalo de Vénèz", porra antequerana (gazpacho), fried fish (chanquete malagueno), gratinated shellfish, paella, migas andaluzas...
