Near the Costa Cálida, between Cartagena and Murcia, Roldán is a beautiful holiday village extremely well situated. In a few minutes, you can reach the Mediterranean coast for long hours of relaxation or discover cities with prestigious past and extraordinary heritage.

Located in the Carthaginian hinterland, Roldán invites you above all to enjoy the mild Costa Cálida, which enjoys 315 days of sunshine a year. Less than 15 kilometres away, join the Mar Menor, a vast 170 km² lagoon considered to be the largest swimming pool in the world. With its warm and shallow waters, it offers an ideal setting for many water sports. If you want to swim in the Mediterranean, go to San Pedro del Pinatar, Cabo de Palos or, better still, on the Manga del Mar Menor, the narrow strip of land that separates the Mar Menor from the Mediterranean and that allows you to enjoy both.

After these relaxing moments by the sea, visit the large cities near Roldán. In Murcia, enjoy the historic centre and its picturesque little streets. In the Cardenal Belluga square, admire the two most famous monuments of the city : the episcopal palace with its beautiful baroque façade and the Gothic cathedral with its high rococo tower (92 m). In Cartagena, marvel at the rich heritage of this millennial city : Punic wall of the 3rd century BC, Roman theatre, Santa María la Vieja Cathedral, Grand Hotel... But also go to the Torres Park to discover the oldest building in the city : the Castle of Concepción.

If the surroundings of Roldán encourage you to practice many water sports, you will have the opportunity to engage in many other activities. On foot, take the old miners' and fishermen's paths to discover the splendid landscapes of the coast. By mountain bike, discover the Las Salinas regional park which serves as a stopover for many migratory birds. To play golf, discover the Torre Pacheco golf course, located near Roldán and with a beautiful 9-hole course. After a full day, choose a good restaurant to taste the specialities of the Murcia region : seafood, fish, cooked rice, pastel cierva, tocino del cielo...

The SPAR supermarket is 100% more expensive on most standard products except for croissants and some local fruits and vegetables. The best way is to go to the nearest place in Roldàn, less than 10km from the Resort, there is the Mercadonia which offers very interesting prices and very fresh products. There is also Torre-Pacheco 16km away and there is everything you need and in addition to interesting restaurants, both in quality and price.
