In the heart of a magnificent gulf, Valencia, Spain's third largest city, has the charm of old port cities. Combining tradition and modernity, enchanting coastline and mountainous hinterland, it is a rare holiday resort where diversity never ceases to surprise.

With its magnificent coastline, Valencia offers visitors a privileged setting. Less than 15 minutes from the city centre, the urban beaches of Las Arenas and Malvarrosa are ideal for relaxing and swimming in the clear Mediterranean waters. If you prefer wilder beaches, join the superb natural park of Albufera, located 10 kilometres south of Valencia. You will find large expanses of fine sand, surrounded by dunes and vegetation. Some have a water sports centre where you can rent a pedal boat, take sailing lessons or take a pleasant catamaran trip.

After having enjoyed the coast, join the center of Valencia. With more than 2000 years of history, the city conceals incredible treasures. Visit Saint Mary's Cathedral, a true architectural jewel combining Romanesque, Baroque and Gothic styles, and enjoy the Miguelete bell tower and the Basilica of the Virgin Mary. Then join the central market district, one of the largest in Europe, and discover the nearby Halles de la Soie, a masterpiece of Gothic art listed as a UNESCO world heritage site. Don't miss either the Serrano Towers, the gardens of Turia and the sumptuous avant-garde buildings of the City of Arts and Sciences.

A city of history, Valencia is also a city of culture and you can visit many museums. Discover, for example, the Fine Arts Museum which gathers the largest collection of Spanish paintings after the Prado (Sorolla, Goya, Zuloaga...). Also admire the rich collections of the Science (Prince Felipe), Arts (Queen Sofia) museums, the marine ambiences of the Oceanogràfic, the largest aquarium in Europe, and the gigantic concave screen of the Hemisfèric, 3D digital cinema. During your stay, also take the time, between beaches and visits, to take a few breaks to discover Valencia's gastronomic heritage. The most famous dish of the region is certainly the paella, but also taste the suquet of peix, the all i pebre of eels, the fideuà or the excellent pastries : almojábanas, rosegones...
