Casa el Mirlo is located at Finca el Bebedero in Icod de los Vinos, sharing a spectacular private property with heated pool, barbecue area, gardens full of monarch butterflies, ecological farm, table tennis, library and good energy in front of a tropical forest called La Furnia, next to the protected landscape called Acantilados de la Culata.
Our beautiful rural house has a bathroom with shower, a bedroom with kitchen and the beautiful living room in the same room and the relaxing terrace outside.
Finca El Bebedero is an old farmhouse that has been renewed very slowly over the last 20 years. The location was chosen because the most important thing about the place was the water. Next to us is the old fountain that comes from the nearby rainforest. Bebedero means drinker, because the people who lived here used to come here to bring water home, and also because they let their animals drink from the small reservoirs. With this abundance of water, they built the laundries where the woman used to wash the family's clothes. Today, these are historical monuments that teach us how difficult life was in the past.
Today, we've built a place full of beautiful vibrations, feeling nature, plants, trees, animals and a place to enjoy life.
We're located next to everything, but at the same time, we're in a privileged spot on the north coast of Tenerife.
Icod de los Vinos is world-famous for its wines, especially the white. Here, too, we have the longest volcanic tube called La Cueva del Viento, where you can book an excursion to visit it. And of course, we have Tenerife's most famous tree, El Drago Milenario, which is a Dragenary tree. Icod also has a beautiful beach, Playa San Marcos, where we can enjoy fresh fish dishes and sunbathing.
We have a very good location next to the wild north coast of the island. We call this area Isla Baja, which starts in the village of Garachico, continues into the village of Los Silos and ends in the village of Buenavista, with the incredible Teno rural park, where we'll be delighted by the view of the Los Gigantes cliff.
Finca el Bebedero is just a 25-minute drive from the famous Buenavista golf course on Las Arenas beach, designed by world-renowned golfer Severiano Ballesteros. Here, you can enjoy golf right next to the sea, with magnificent views of the sea and mountains. There's a good restaurant on the golf course. Next door, we have a beautiful black sand beach and another designer restaurant right on the coast.
Our special place for romantics and rural vacations. There's a lovely heated pool set around a pretty garden, with incredible sea and mountain views. Our guests can enjoy breakfast, with the pleasure of taking our oranges straight from the trees. In addition, we have a large barbecue area with a large oven in the common areas, with tables and chairs to enjoy meals.We also have a ping-pong table for our guests and free WiFi Internet service in the common areas.
We have a library in a small wooden house, where our guests can use and leave books.
