Small studio in a pretty, flower-filled village called Grimaldi, with the most fabulous views of the sea, the Côte d'Azur and the port and town of Menton-Roquebrune.
If you love the sea, a bit of wilderness and the glamour of the Côte d'Azur, then this is the place where you'll be happy to spend your vacation: a studio apartment with a breathtaking view of the sea, just above the most beautiful beach here , Balzi Rossi, where the water is crystal clear. The apartment is between Italy and France, so you're only 10 min from Menton, 30 min from Montecarlo and 40 min from Sanremo.
You'll have your own private entrance, an equipped terrace, a (small) kitchen and dining area, a bathroom with shower and a bedroom with a double bed. We're located in Italy, right on the border with the Côte d'Azur. The best of both worlds!
Grimaldi is a very authentic village, about 150 meters above sea level. You can walk in the mountains, or cycle for hours in the protected nature reserve "parco national Ligure". The nearest beaches are Baia Benjamin and Balzi Rossi. Small bays with fishing boats and pebble beaches. Both beaches have restaurants. Great place for snorkeling and rock diving.
The family beaches are in the village of Menton, just 5 minutes' drive from our house. Here you'll find sandy beaches, restaurants, stores and sun terraces.
The town of Ventimiglia is a short 10-minute drive away. Here you'll find a fantastic covered food market and every Friday a large clothing/bag and food market on the boulevard.
Small villages and towns to visit in the vicinity are; Menton (5″ FR), Sainte Agnès ( 30″)
