On the first floor of the owner's house, small atypical gîte for a couple in the heart of the village of Saint-Pompont at the foot of the church. This gîte consists of a room with a kitchen and dining area, followed by a bedroom-living room-washroom with two armchairs, a coffee table, a television, 1 bed (140x190), a shower, a vanity unit and a toilet, all open to the room. Dehumidifier in the room for optimum comfort. In front of the house, a small outdoor table is available at the edge of the small alley.
Parking is available in the village parking lot, 300 m away.
The gîte is equipped with wifi. No dishwasher or washing machine.
A cot, high chair and electric griddle are available on request. Right in the heart of the pretty village of Saint-Pompont, just 27 km from Sarlat, in the Dordogne Valley, in the heart of Périgord Noir, with all amenities on site (bakery/press, pharmacy, mini-market), you can explore the many treasures of our heritage: castles (Castelnaud, Beynac, Les Milandes), gardens (Marqueyssac, Eyrignac, Carsac....), bastides (Monpazier, Domme...), caves and chasms (Lascaux, Padirac, Proumeyssac...) or gastronomy, with numerous farm inns, restaurants and gourmet markets to tempt your taste buds... or enjoy outdoor activities, swimming and canoeing on the Dordogne, hiking and mountain biking trails, greenways...
Near the gîte, the priory garden offers a haven of peace for siestas, contemplation or reading.
