Maeva Escapades is an invitation to take the time to rediscover France and its destinations through the eyes of people who love their region.
Zoom in on the region: Located in the Vézère valley, a UNESCO World Heritage site, numerous prehistoric and troglodytic sites are waiting to be discovered. Périgord's terroir also means discovering the gastronomy of duck, walnuts, truffles and strawberries, and tasting (in moderation) its Bergerac and Montbazillac wines. In midsummer, Montignac hosts a music and dance festival to liven up your evenings and discover the world!
A "discovery" program for you: In the morning, choose to discover prehistoric sites such as the Lascaux caves or the medieval town of Sarlat la Canéda. For lunch, stop off at the Montignac market, where you'll find local producers and local tastings. In the afternoon, go canoeing with your family, hike the GR36 trail from the campsite or take part in historical activities with your children. Whether you're a fan of history, nature, discovery or gastronomy, the Périgord Noir region is the place for you!
Edwige and Cyril offer a range of leisure facilities for your family holiday: a heated outdoor swimming pool with a paddling pool. A children's playground, volleyball and badminton net, ping-pong table, bouncy castle and the famous pétanque court.
To make your stay as comfortable as possible, the campsite offers a range of services: a brasserie serving local cuisine, Périgord gastronomic specialities, a Périgord hamburger, and everything you need to relax on the terrace shaded by the vines.
Looking for something sweet in the morning? Edwige and Cyril offer a bread and pastry service, baked on site and delivered to your pitch for those sweet mornings.
And during the summer months, we organize daytime and evening activities for your little ones, such as water games around the pool or pétanque tournaments, themed meals and musical evenings. Your little ones can enjoy themselves in complete peace at the mini kids' club (4/10 years). On the program? Morning crafts, shortbread making, rock painting, etc.
