le Chai is a spacious, single-storey house at the rear of the owners' home. Formerly a wine-making barn, it is now an elegant and comfortable vacation home. Large French windows open onto a lovely terrace overlooking the private garden and the whole park, fields and woods beyond. Inside, there's a large living room, with 2 sofas and a well-equipped kitchen at the other.end.(the fireplace is unfortunately no longer compliant for use). There are two bedrooms, separated by a well-appointed shower room. One has a double bed, the other has two single beds. The terrace is furnished for outdoor living, with dining table and plancha. Open the small gate at the end to access the larger grounds. Stroll through the grounds to the stream, where you'll find a haven of rural peace, lulled by the water tumbling over the small waterfall. In the grounds of over 1 hectare, you may come across holidaymakers from the other 2 gîtes (sleeping 4) on the opposite wing of the owners' house.
