Location
A charming commune in the Var, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, Le Luc is known for being, according to Météo France, the town with the most summer days in France, i.e. days with a temperature equal to or greater than 25°C. It is located near the Plaine des Maures National Nature Reserve, at the foot of the Maures Massif, not far from the Gorges du Verdon and some thirty kilometers from the famous seaside resort of Saint-Tropez. Inhabited since the late Middle Ages, the commune passed through the hands of numerous seigneuries over the centuries before becoming completely independent. Even today, it enjoys an important tourist aura thanks to its ideal geographical location for discovering the region's tourist and natural sites.
