The village of Mas-de-Tence is 2 hours from Lyon and 3 hours from Montpellier. Nestled in a green setting in the heart of this small village, the Gîte du Belvédère is the ideal place to spend your vacations in the fresh air, in comfortable accommodation!
The local team took great care to renovate the house built by "Klaus Gemündt", a stained-glass artist who was an emblematic figure in the village.
The house is atypical, with stained glass windows, a ground-level window allowing observation of the microcosm of the meadow bordering the house, a cubist-inspired kitchen, and so on.
Outside, the terrace offers a magnificent view of the region's famous volcanoes, known as "Les sucs de l'Yssingelais".
On site: lazing about, but also hiking, mushroom-picking and visiting an open-air photo exhibition.
A little further afield: the "Velay express" steam train, a wide range of outdoor activities: climbing, mountain scooters, museums, concert halls and cinemas.
A little further afield: discover the town of Le Puy en Velay and its many UNESCO World Heritage monuments, the Mézenc plateau and the young gorges of the Loire. Haute-Loire abounds in cultural and sporting activities!
Shops and services in Tence or Saint-Bonnet-le-Froid (less than 10 minutes away by car).
All-inclusive rates: household linen, towels, bed linen, cleaning and utilities. Set in unenclosed grounds bordered by meadows, Le Belvédère is a single-storey house (very rare in the Haute-Loire). The entrance is via a corridor leading to the living room with kitchen and lounge, which is extremely bright thanks to its many windows, giving the impression of living outdoors!
The corridor also leads to the first two bedrooms, which are linked by a shower room, but each has its own independent entrance.
The third bedroom is accessible from the living room, and has its own private shower room with Italian shower and WC.
A garage is available for storing : Bikes, fishing gear, motorcycles... The garage is not large enough to park a car.
