Important Information Before Booking
This private cocoon is located on the second floor of Michel's apartment. He is delighted to welcome travelers for tourist or personal stays in this space specially designed for them. If you're lucky, you might even get the chance to chat with him, and he'll be able to share his tips and good addresses for exploring the city!
When booking this apartment, please note that you will only have access to your own private area, located on the second floor. The apartment is spread over two floors; the first level is the apartment of Michel, the owner, and serves only as an entry point to the second floor, which will be entirely private for your use. The second floor is not to be used, as indicated in the welcome booklet sent to you before your arrival, to avoid any confusion.
The apartment comprises a large bedroom with two single beds, an additional sleeping area with a queen-size double bed, a shower room, a bright and fully furnished living area with a new, functional and modern kitchen, and a sofa bed.
Please note that the apartment is not suitable for professionals or companies booking accommodation for their employees.
You'll be staying in Metz's carefully renovated former tobacco factory, with direct access to the city center, just a 10-minute walk from Metz Cathedral. Ideally located, you'll be a fifteen-minute walk from Place Saint Louis, the famous 13th-century fortified monument, La Porte des Allemands, and a twenty-minute walk from the city's main tourist and shopping attractions. The Temple de la Garnison and the Temple Neuf are cultural gems in the area. All amenities are within walking distance, as are the city's main means of transport (train, bus, streetcar, bicycle, etc.). One parking space is reserved for you, offering free access to the building's private parking lot.
The carefully refurbished apartment features top-quality fixtures and fittings, blending old-world charm with the comfort of a contemporary apartment. You'll enjoy the luxury of a top-of-the-range apartment thanks to the furnishings provided and the owner's attention to detail. Tap water is filtered and treated by a water softener for the highest quality consumption.
The apartment includes a 160 cm bed and sofa in the living room, and a 120 cm double bed and 80 cm single bed in the bedroom.
Beds are made up on arrival, and for your comfort, Rock in Share provides hotel-quality linen.
Check-in begins at 4 p.m. and check-out must be no later than 11 a.m. on the day of departure.
Arrival is on your own. Once your reservation has been confirmed, you will receive our house guide by e-mail, giving you access (after pre-registration) to all the information you need to access the apartment easily: directions, key box code, etc.
