Laëtitia and Bastien are delighted to welcome you to their 6-person gîte.
Located opposite the Forêt d'Orient National Nature Reserve, in the heart of the Forêt d'Orient Regional Nature Park.
You'll appreciate the peacefulness of this place and the colors of the Lac du Temple at any time of day.
Ideally located at the Pointe de Charlieu, sit back in one of the lounge chairs and watch the many species of birds (cranes, mute swans, ducks...), deer and wild boar that parade through the reserve...
Take a stroll on the terrace at dusk, and listen to the bellowing of deer in early autumn.
Feel like getting some fresh air?
Once you've left the gîte, hop on a bike, put on your walking shoes and take to the lakeside greenway or one of the many hiking trails.
Looking for water sports?
Take to the water from the Caron boat launch (3.7km from the gîte) and take your fishing rod out on one of the lakes in the Forêt d'Orient (a popular spot for predator anglers).
Or discover the lake by kayak and its submerged forests in summer. Like a mangrove forest or a "bayou", but in the Champagne region...
Accommodation:
The gîte has 3 bedrooms:
- 1 bedroom with lake view, 1 double bed and closet
- 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds: the beds can be joined together to make a double bed if required. Each room has its own closet or chest of drawers.
Rooms are located on the same landing.
Rooms are accessed via a staircase.
A door closes off access to the staircase. This separates the living area from the bedrooms, avoiding the risk of falls with small children.
Access to the gîte is via stairs.
The gîte comprises:
- on the upper landing :
a living/dining room with a view of the lake and access to a small terrace opening onto the garden, a fully-equipped kitchen and a toilet
- on the lower landing :
a shower room and 3 bedrooms
- outside: fenced, private courtyard with 3 parking spaces and a large garden.
Total surface area: approx. 96 M2
In order to offer everyone their own home:
The final rental price systematically includes end-of-stay cleaning and a complete linen kit (hand towels, dishcloths, towels, sheets).
