Location
Perpignan, the capital of Roussillon and the Eastern Pyrenees, is nicknamed "la belle Catalane". It owes this nickname to its strong Catalan identity, which it shared with Dalí, the master of surrealism, who in 1965 proclaimed the Perpignan train station the center of the world.
