THE RESIDENCE
The 3* Résidence de tourisme "Le Sornin", comprising 4 2-storey buildings with apartments for 4 to 9 people and an annex building for communal areas, is located near the center of the village of Autrans, in the heart of the Vercors National Park, between pastures and forests, a veritable paradise for outdoor activities, around 40 km from Grenoble. The resort center, ski lifts and shops are just 600 m away. Free wifi access in reception area only. Fitness room, children's playground, city stadium (weather permitting). Free parking is available at the entrance to the residence.
THE STATION
Situated in the Rhône-Alpes region, straddling the departments of Isère and Drôme and close to the major conurbations of Valence and Grenoble (40 km), the Vercors massif is a paradise for outdoor activities, renowned for the beauty of its panoramas and its unspoilt wilderness. Autrans is located in the heart of the Vercors Regional Nature Park. Autrans-Méaudre en Vercors stands out from the big resorts for its friendly, family atmosphere, and attracts families and beginners with its gentle ski area and mountain architecture. Alpine and cross-country skiing are the order of the day! This dynamic resort, located at an altitude of 1050 m, offers a wide range of activities for families and sports enthusiasts alike: snowshoeing, tobogganing, dog sledding, fat biking, snowkiting, ski jumping, biathlon, ice climbing, mountain biking, VAE, caving, farm visits... not forgetting the "Speed luge Vercors", a toboggan run on rails from the summit of Le Claret: 135 meters of vertical drop, up to 40 km/h, a guaranteed sensation! Shops, restaurants, cinema and library await you!
The Autrans-Méaudre en Vercors ski area is located between 1050m and 1710m in the heart of the Vercors Regional Nature Park, and offers 35 runs (20 km) in 2 separate areas accessible with the same ski pass (Autrans - La Sure and Méaudre - Village). A free shuttle service (approx. 11 minutes) links the 2 sites. There are kindergartens and easy runs for children to discover skiing in complete safety. A wide range of red and black runs is also available for good skiers. The Espace Nordique d'Autrans en Vercors, one of France's most beautiful Nordic sites, has been awarded the "Nordic France" label, and is renowned for the quality of its facilities and the grooming of its runs. It offers 180 km of prepared classic and skating trails for cross-country skiing, Nordic hiking, dog sledding and Nordic walking on snow.
ACCOMMODATION
All accommodations feature a living room with kitchenette (ceramic hob, combined microwave, dishwasher, toaster, electric coffeemaker and kettle), bathroom or shower, and separate toilet. Television included. Sufficient crockery, comforters and pillows are also provided. Imitation parquet flooring.
