A campsite shaded by the majestic Landes pine forest, just 800 m from the magnificent, never-ending Vivier beach! That's about it!
Close to the seaside resort of Biscarrosse-Plage, world-famous for its surf spots, welcome to the 4* Le Vivier campsite, where welcome, quality and conviviality are the watchwords. In fact, this 100% natural campsite won the Travellers' Choice 2023 award for the very first time!
Although the ocean is at your feet, you'll also find a very pleasant aquatic area, not forgetting the fresh water of Lake Cazaux-Sanguinet, just 10 minutes away by car.
You're in a water sports paradise... freshwater AND saltwater, a nature resort par excellence, Biscarrosse has something for everyone, whether you're on vacation with family or friends.
With entertainment, activities for young and old, a host of new services and new, well-equipped mobile homes, this is a 4-star campsite on the edge of the ocean!

- Description of the Aquatic Area:
Take advantage of this pleasant heated outdoor pool area to swim, dive and have fun all season long!
A large 500 m² swimming pool welcomes you for laps in the morning dew, for games, ball games, entertainment and fun, all day long!
And what about the little ones? A paddling pool awaits them for fun and games.
And after all that, relax on one of the deckchairs for a sunbath or a well-deserved siesta.
Aquatic area opening times and dates:
- Daily from 10am to 1:30pm and from 3pm to 7pm (subject to change).
NB: Swim shorts, Bermuda shorts, wetsuits or similar are strictly forbidden in the pools. Swimsuits or boxer shorts must be worn. Supervised swimming from 06/07 to 31/08. As the water in the pools is heated by heat pumps, an environmentally-friendly system, in the event of cool outside temperatures, the system may have difficulty maintaining the water at a high temperature.
And let's not forget the other options for a dip:
- Freshwater 4 km to the east: Lac de Cazaux/Sanguinet: water sports enthusiasts can enjoy a wide range of activities: kayaking, paddleboarding, kite surfing, water skiing, pedal boats, etc. (extra charge). Fishing is permitted for perch, pike, zander and carp. Fishing cards are compulsory and can be purchased at cartedepeche.fr or at the Tourist Office.)
- Eau...céan 800m to the west: the endless Vivier beach at Biscarrosse-Plage and the energy of the waves, ideal for enjoying the sea spray, dreaming as you gaze at the horizon, sipping a drink as the sun sets.
Schedules are indicative and subject to change. Access to the aquatic areas may be subject to restrictions, depending on weather and sanitary conditions, and any maintenance work in progress at the time of your stay.
- Entertainment:
Available throughout the season, with a denser program in summer, entertainment is provided by a dynamic, professional team from Sunday afternoon to Friday evening.
After a gentle wake-up call with a group aquagym class, the pace quickens: fitness classes, muscle-building, zumba, stretching, dance lessons, archery, Olympics and various tournaments such as pétanque, soccer, basketball or handball, etc. (equipment on loan).
Try your hand at beach soccer or badminton!
In the evening, it's time to relax and party! Take part in the various activities on offer under the big top: karaoke, aperitif games, café-théâtre, magic shows, entertainers' shows, concerts, cabarets and, of course, to round things off in style, whether you're a seasoned dancer or an amateur, the dancefloor is yours for a moment of total relaxation to the rhythm of this summer's hits!
Whether you're a keen sportsman or a beginner, there's a wide choice of activities on offer all season long:
The must-do activities: multi-sports field for a game of soccer, basketball, volleyball, beach volleyball (ball loan), ping-pong tables, a brand-new padel tennis court (equipment loan) and pétanque; games room with table soccer, billiards and pinball machines and mini-golf (extra charge).
Younger guests can let off steam on the secure, colorful playground with its monkey bridges, slide, swing and inflatable structure. All just for them! (Under parental supervision).
Cyclists, the Vélodyssée passes not far from the campsite, a great opportunity to get your pedals moving.
Fishing is permitted on Lac de Cazaux, 4 km away! Perch, pike, pike-perch and carp are yours for the taking (fishing cards are compulsory and must be paid for at cartedepeche.fr or at the Tourist Office).
Children's clubs (4-6 years / 7-10 years / 11-13 years):
Open during the summer vacations from Monday to Friday, 10am to 12pm and 3pm to 5pm.
Presentation games, creative and cooking workshops, ball games, dance, theme days, preparation for and participation in a show, mini-disco and mini-mousse, clay-making, knowledge games, musical awakening, mini-olympics, sports tournaments, big games, etc.
Club Ados (14-17 years):
Open during the summer vacations from Monday to Friday, 11am to 1pm and 3pm to 5pm.
Sports activities, sports tournaments, video clips, games, beach outings, preparation for and participation in the Teen Show, teen meals, outings (karting, surfing, canoeing), etc.
Depending on the season and attendance, the age groups represented may be grouped together. Outdoor activities available at extra cost. Activities may vary according to Club and period. Clubs are supervised by qualified, professional instructors.

Start the day with a hearty breakfast featuring freshly baked bread and pastries from the grocer's hot spot.
The snack bar, offering pizzas, French fries, sandwiches and paninis, will satisfy your munchies!
If you'd like to enjoy a cup of coffee in the warmth of the morning, sip on your favorite cocktail or watch the latest sports broadcasts, head for the bar and its wide choice of drinks.
In July/August, themed food-trucks offer additional delicacies: rotisserie with roast chickens or tasty pizzas. And when it's time for the kids' favorite meal, treat yourself to a waffle, crêpe or chichis!
The small mini-market, stocked with fresh produce, wine, newspapers and beachwear, provides a handy convenience store.
If you're looking for a moment of pure relaxation, head to the Lodge wellness area (open all season by appointment, at extra cost). Let yourself be pampered by professionals on hand to offer massages and body treatments.
For grilling, you can hire a gas plancha (extra charge). Individual charcoal/electric barbecues are not permitted on the entire site.
Also available: launderette with washing machine and dryer (surcharge), vacuum cleaner, ironing board and iron (on request from reception, upon presentation of ID), safety deposit box rental at reception (surcharge), wifi access throughout the campsite (surcharge), bike rental (surcharge) and a charging station for electric vehicles (details and rates to be consulted on site).
In July/August, a town shuttle takes you to and from the center of the resort of Biscarrosse-Plage (with supplement; times and rates to be consulted on site; subject to renewal for 2024).

Vaccination certificate required. It is strictly forbidden to leave pets unattended in the accommodation, and they are not allowed on the beach. They must always be kept on a leash at the campsite.
