Located just 50 meters from Mazzeo beach, Casa Incanto is set in a small village of mansions and a small ancient church, from which you can see a unique hanging garden that, in 2019, came first in a competition organized by the city of Taormina; the plants, very well maintained by the tenants of the building, blend perfectly into the setting; together with their greenery they create a spectacular and unique chromatic association.
You can enjoy this magical hanging garden directly from the house, but not only: in fact, on the top floor, an internal staircase in Sicilian marble leads to a spacious terrace of around 70 m2, partially covered by a curtain to keep out the sun, equipped with a table and chairs for al fresco dining, 2 sunbeds, a small outdoor lounge and a washbasin.
The entire terrace is enriched with green plants and flowers, and offers a splendid panorama of Mazzeo beach, a vast stretch of gravel bathed by the crystal-clear sea. Free parking is available along the seafront, 20 meters from the house, but guests can stop in the small square in front of the house to unload luggage.
Interiors
The house (120 m2) has been refurbished and features all the latest electrical and hydraulic systems. The first floor is occupied by the owner's mother. An internal staircase leads to the second floor, which opens onto a corridor with, on the right, a large living room with 2 single beds, satellite TV, air-conditioning and a small balcony overlooking the small square; on the left, a double bedroom with air-conditioning, a large balcony overlooking the sea and the small old church, and a bathroom with bathtub-shower cubicle in sky-blue ceramic tiles. A staircase leads to the second floor, which opens onto a well-equipped cooking area with a convenient kitchen island and 4 stools. The cooking area is located in a large living room with a double sofa bed, satellite TV, air conditioning and access to the outside; on the same floor there's a bathroom with shower and washing machine. Again via a staircase, enriched with several vases hand-painted by the owner and souvenirs carried by the sea, we reach the top floor with an anteroom where we find a coffee maker and the necessities for outdoor breakfasts, a small service bathroom and the spacious panoramic terrace that allows us to admire the crystal-clear sea.
Location
Casa Incanto is located in Mazzeo, a romantic corner of Sicily, a small village with many surprises in store, just a stone's throw from famous towns such as Taormina and Letojanni. The beach is sandy and, thanks to its slightly off-center position, perfect for those seeking peace and relaxation.

Activities and distances
We're in Mazzeo, an excellent base from which to explore the beauties of eastern Sicily, starting with Taormina, which sits atop Mount Tauro, a natural terrace sheer out to sea with spectacular views of the volcano Etna. It's a wonderful way to start your visit to Taormina, wandering through the stores and alleyways to reach Palazzo Corvaja, a historic building housing the Museum of Arts and Traditions. Also worth a visit are Mount Etna and the Alcantara Gorges, spectacular lava gorges formed by the Alcantara River. Along a path immersed in lush greenery, you can admire impressive vertical walls framing the river's blue waters. The first symbol of Taormina is its ancient Greco-Roman theater, still in operation today, as is Isola Bella, a picturesque and evocative little island that has become a naturalist museum.
All the most famous localities are within easy reach by car or train (the station, in fact, is just 100 metres from the house). Letojanni, the nearest town, Taormina, Messina, Syracuse, Catania.
