The wood and old stone of this historic 18th-century building, combined with contemporary, high-quality furnishings and fittings, as well as the atypical layout of the premises, reveal a cosy, chic country house atmosphere of unbridled charm. Its location in the south of the Landes and at the gateway to the Basque Country, with the beaches just 18km away and the lake and golf course of Hossegor 30 minutes away, is also ideal for discovering the coast, villages, hillsides and nearby Spain. On two levels, the ground floor comprises a large living room (TV, wifi, bluetooth station), a dining area on the central island of the open-plan kitchen (dishwasher, induction hob, extractor fan, washing machine, refrigerator with freezer compartment, electric oven, microwave), an alcove extending from the living room with 1 bed 160x200 (a curtain separates this sleeping area to guarantee your privacy), a bathroom (with bathtub and Italian shower), and a separate toilet. Upstairs, an unenclosed attic bedroom offers two 80cm beds that can be converted into a 160cm bed. To highlight the original roof structure, a beam has been preserved: an adult has to bend down to access the beds. Bed linen, towels and household linen are included, as are water, electricity and heating charges. Baby equipment (cot and high chair) can be provided. The exterior comprises a covered terrace with garden furniture, sun loungers and plancha, and a large park of approx. 2000m² entirely dedicated to the gîte (not fenced in), with adjoining outbuildings.
