Passionate farmers, it's in Chalosse, facing the Pyrenees, that we have the pleasure of welcoming you to the Jouandéou gîte in the heart of a family farm that has been going strong for 5 generations.
An ideal place for a quiet, authentic stay, you can also discover the region's rich traditions, gastronomy and local festivals. Beaches are 1 hour away, but you can enjoy the swimming pool on site.
The house has been completely renovated and refurbished, with antique furniture restored to its former glory in a universe of intense, warm colors. - The ground floor features a large fitted kitchen opening onto a spacious double living room. - A dining room adjoining the kitchen can accommodate up to 10 guests for fine dining with family or friends. - A vast double-height entrance hall with its antique staircase leads to the first floor, which also includes a separate toilet with washbasin, a large laundry room and a spacious bedroom (160cm bed) with private shower room and toilet. - A generous landing on the first floor leads to 4 bedrooms (2 beds 140, 1 bed 180 and 2 beds 90), a bathroom with toilet and a shower room with toilet. The house features a comfortable heat pump system with cast-iron radiators on the ground floor and reversible air-conditioning upstairs. An ornamental garden rich in flower varieties surrounds the house, and a covered terrace equipped with garden furniture and a plancha, accessible from the living room, extends to the south. You can visit the farm, discover the production of the cannery and be welcomed at the boutique located near the gîte. Between June and September, you can also take advantage of the swimming pool, located near the owner's house below the farm.
