On the borders of the Grande Lande and Chalosse regions, come and stay in the Pays Turusate, just 1 h from the beaches. Here you'll discover contrasting landscapes, separated by the Midouze, a tributary of the Adour, with pine forests on one side and rolling countryside on the other.
You'll be free to enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities on land - hiking, biking and horseback riding - and on water - canoeing and kayaking, and you'll be able to go fishing at the private lake on site.
Here, you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside, with family or friends, for a week or a short stay all year round.
The Madroles gîte, adjoining the owner's house, is laid out on the ground and first floors and features an independent kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, extractor hood, 4 gas rings and electric oven. An American fridge is available in the utility room, which also houses the washing machine. A spacious living room with a corner sofa and TV area, and a large dining table. The sleeping area is upstairs, with 3 bedrooms, each with 2 double beds (140cm) and 2 single beds (90cm). For your comfort, there's a shower room with Italian shower and double basin on the ground floor, and upstairs a shower room with shower cubicle, 1 basin and 1 toilet. A second toilet on the ground floor.
For your comfort, the gîte has reversible air-conditioning in every room, and bed linen and towels are included.
Outside, you'll find a large plot of undefined land shared with the owner, a terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue for grilling. Just 50 m from the gîte, you'll find the lake, ideal for a pleasant stroll or a spot of fishing. Don't forget your fishing rods! And if you're an animal lover, you can say hello to the little goats and your pet will be very welcome.
Here you'll be welcomed with warmth and simplicity. A vacation destination rich in traditions, gourmet dishes and local folklore.
The price includes: 8 KWh of electricity per day, 500 liters of water per day and 1/2 bottle of gas per week for cooking (if the accommodation is equipped with gas fires). Excess consumption will be collected by the owner at the end of your stay.
