The farmhouse of the Domo .... and its ancient charmThe farmhouse of Domo dates back to the 11th century, well restored and located on the hills of Pistoia in the midst of olive trees and cypresses, in a very small medieval village, Monsummano castle. The ancient village, with the presence of remains of Roman civilization, is distinguished by some architectural elements that compose it: the church of San Niccolao in the centre, overlooked by the farmhouse, the octagonal tower at the entrance to the fortress and the remains of the two arches of the access doors to the castle, all surrounded by an imposing wall, still preserved in excellent condition at times.Number of bedrooms: 5; Number of other rooms with beds: 0

The Casale del Domo is located right in the center of the medieval village, with all the charm of an ancient past. It is furnished with extreme taste, with furniture and valuables as well as having all the comforts to make you feel at ease and is particularly suitable for families with children or a group of friends who love nature and are looking for total relaxation. The farmhouse, which retains its medieval structure, consists of 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and 2 kitchens. You will love spending your time in the outdoor garden, spread over several levels, furnished with quality furniture and a barbecue for your grilling. Its strategic position allows you to spend a holiday in complete tranquility, with the possibility of going for walks in the beautiful surrounding countryside as well as being able to visit the nearby village of Monsummano (1 km), walk to the well-known thermal center of the Grotte Giusti 700 m, which can also be reached from the farmhouse via an ancient pavement, Montecatini Terme (5 km), Pistoia (9 km), the beautiful Tuscan capital at 35 km, Pisa (40 km), Lucca (25 km), the Versilia sea (54km).
Space
The farmhouse has a large outdoor space on several levels, while the antique interior furnishings accommodate up to 10 people, and are divided into: 4 double bedrooms, a single bedroom with bunk beds, as well as a cot , 2 kitchens, 4 bathrooms. The house is arranged on several levels, according to the wavy structure, typical of rustic Tuscan farmhouses to adapt to the shape of the land.
Third floor:
At the level of the square of San Nicolao we have the main entrance, which is accessed through a large terrace, with a garden lounge and a large glass table for 10/12 people, and a barbecue. Inside we find a room with dining/living area with fireplace, ceiling with original beams and Tuscan terracotta flooring (the same style that we then find throughout the rest of the residence), and a first kitchen, perfectly equipped and with a rustic flavour, equipped with hob, fridge, oven and dishwasher. On this level we have the first double bedroom with TV and bathroom, and a second double bedroom with TV, also equipped with an exclusive bathroom, which can be reached via a small internal staircase.
Second floor :
The second floor is accessible both from inside the farmhouse, with a characteristic rustic staircase, and from the external garden/terrace. Here we find another double room with fireplace and TV, and a single room with bunk beds, a cot and a bathroom, utility room with washing machine. The outdoor terrace is equipped with a sitting area and a small swimming pool for children.
First floor:
Going further down, another level develops, also accessible from the garden, where there is a double bedroom with TV, a bathroom and a second equipped kitchen with access to an outdoor area where there is a whirlpool for 5/6 people and a garden lounge.
External:
The farmhouse, arranged on several levels, has two large terraces, partly in the sun and partly in the shade of two large secular cypresses, and a large garden where it is possible to play or simply rest and read in the tranquility of nature. The paved areas are equipped with a garden sitting area and deck chairs for sunbathing, a large table where you can enjoy summer dinners in company. The whirlpool is very large 2x2 meters, where 5/6 people can relax at the same time, while the small swimming pool is fun for the little ones, up to 10 years of age. Car parking is in the square in front of the farmhouse, which is large and free
