The house is located in the historic center of GOIS, a charming village with all amenities: bakery, bar, restaurant, supermarket, pharmacy, river beaches. Everything can be done on foot. The tourist office is 20m away. Quiet and pleasant. The 2nd week of August sees the town festival, with concerts and a local market. The following week sees the 2nd largest concentration of motorcycles in Portugal, so there's a lot going on in those weeks. You're 2 hours from Porto and 2h30 from Lisbon, and 1h15 from the Figueira da foz seaside. every Thursday, a 15-minute drive takes you to the Arganil market, where you can eat the famous grilled chicken with French fries. if you like hiking, there are many beautiful villages and trails in the area.
