Access
The house is designed to be accessed by car, either via the Chemin de la brûlade, protected by a sliding gate, or via the Rte de Barjac, protected by a swing gate. An enclosed garage is located in the same building, under the dwelling, with ample space for a medium-sized car, bike or motorcycle. Access to the living level is possible via a staircase inside the building or via an external path on the property. The property offers free parking for 5 cars on the garage level plus 2 cars on the house level.
The entire dwelling is on 1 level with the terrace and swimming pool, easily accessible from the parking area (also by wheelchair.)

Quality of life
The house was completely renovated in 2016, with external insulation to RE2020 standards, and is equipped with a double-flow ventilation system with heat recovery, and fresh air is drawn in through a Canadian well to cool the house naturally in summer and preheat it in winter. Heating (if required) is provided by very low-temperature underfloor heating powered by a heat pump. All windows are fitted with mosquito screens. Thanks to the RE2020 standard, the property is suitable for all-season rental.

Location and leisure activities
The ideal location for accessing the Bois de Bruyères on foot via the Chemin de la brûlade, without having to use a car. The Bois de Bruyères, a protected natural site, offers access to several well-marked PR trails and the GR4 hiking trail. Several well-marked trails have been specially designed for mountain biking. The region offers a large number of circuits on small departmental roads for discovering the area by racing bike or motorcycle. A pétanque court with a shaded aperitif area is available on the property for family fun. Just 500 m away (on foot), during the high season, there's a horse-riding site called "Les cheveaux du gour d'estelle", offering guided horseback rides in the heather forest. 3 km from the accommodation, in the direction of Vallon pont d'arc, is the river Ardèche, where you can enjoy canoeing, SUP and swimming. An adventure park is 1 km from the property, in the direction of Barjac.
The markets
Every Thursday in VALLON PONT D'ARC and every Friday in BARJAC and RUOMS (all year round).
There are also numerous night and regional markets in the surrounding area during the season.
