Town house, in PAU-Nord district (Hippodrome, Jaï Alaï, Zenith, Palais des Sports, Bois de Pau, Calicéo, Casino, 5-minute freeway entrance). 5 km from the historic center and Château Henri IV (bus). Gure Atherbia means shelter or refuge in Basque, a well-chosen name for this cozy, comfortable home. First floor: Large living area of over 50 m2 with well-equipped kitchenette (gas hob, electric oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher).
Cosy, light-filled living room (pellet stove, widescreen TV, DVD player, wifi connection via fiber optic cable). Dining area opening onto terrace.
2 bedrooms (2 x 140cm beds). Shower room (Italian shower), separate wc.
Upstairs, accessed via a spiral staircase: 1 bedroom (1 x 160cm bed, bed linen supplied).
Cleaning option 60 euros. Gas heating not included/Electricity (over 8kw/day) not included. 1 bag of pellets provided on arrival.
To the rear of the house, not overlooked: a pleasant west-facing wooden terrace, an enclosed garden with trees and an above-ground summer swimming pool (open mid-June, July, August to mid-September), garden furniture, gas plancha, 2 sun loungers.
To the front of the house, a small unfenced green space. Your gîte is independent. Only the garage is shared with the owner (gardening equipment) and her small cat (access for food and litter).
You'll be able to store your equipment and access the washing machine for your exclusive use. There is free parking for cars on the street, which is a cul-de-sac.
The price includes : - Water within reasonable limits
- 8 kwh/day electricity.
The price does not include: - Gas consumption based on a daily reading of actual consumption (Gaspar meter) at the current rate.
- Cleaning package: 60 euros if you do not wish to clean the apartment on departure (a minimum charge will still be applied). If you do not take out the cleaning package, you will be asked to pay a cleaning deposit of 60 euros by cheque when you move in.
