Location
La Salle-les-Alpes is a commune in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, in the heart of the Hautes-Alpes département, in the Briançon conurbation. With fewer than 1,000 inhabitants, it lies in the Guisane valley and is an integral part of the Serre Chevalier ski area. Popular with sports enthusiasts, the village lies at an altitude of around 1,400 meters, and also attracts visitors with its extensive architectural and historical heritage, which bears witness to a certain interest in medieval times.
