The remarkable village of Borgo a Mozzano is home to a number of historical sights as well as charming streets with cafés and restaurants. Enjoy a stroll along the Serchio River to the asymmetrical, majestic 12th-century Ponte della Maddalena bridge and visit the Chiesa di San Jacopo church, known for its tall stone bell tower. Outside you can take a closer look at the archways and the clock face and inside you can admire the engraved baptismal font from the 16th century. Another highlight of the town is the monastery of San Francesco with its vaulted arcades.
