Located in the beautiful Pyrenees mountains, Lourdes and the surrounding area are world-famous for the shrine (basilicas, grotto, miraculous spring), pilgrimages, nearby magnificent sites (Col du Tourmalet, Pic du Midi, Gavarnie cirque, Pont d'Espagne, etc.) and sporting activities (Tour de France, hiking, skiing, etc.).
