Camping du Lac de la Chausselière****, at La Guyonnière in the Vendée, welcomes you to an exceptional natural setting near Montaigu and the mythical Grand Parc du PUY DU FOU: chalets, mobile homes, tree houses and lodges for rent on the shores of a 14-hectare lake with access to the leisure center, fishing pontoons and hiking trails.
Presentation
Just 25 minutes from Le PUY DU FOU, we are a friendly, family-run campsite set beside a 14-hectare lake, with a focus on nature, quality and relationships. The campsite was designed by a landscape architect, and benefits from an exceptional natural setting. Open all year round, it is classified in the 4* Tourism category. It has 104 pitches, including 57 high-quality rentals, all with large wooden terraces. Their location has been carefully thought out to ensure the best possible view, especially of the lake. The pitches are deliberately large (between 100 and 150 m²) and perfectly landscaped. The aim is to respect both nature and campers. The campsite is affiliated to the FLOWER network, a chain of independent campsites with less than 250 pitches, which are neither too big nor too small to offer a vacation on a human scale.
Services, leisure activities and entertainment
We offer a range of services and activities, including a heated indoor swimming pool, a paddling pool with a children's pool and a children's playground.

In July and August, an experienced activity leader offers a wide range of activities for the little ones, particularly in the kids' club, but also for teenagers and adults.
Description of the region
The Lac de la Chausselière*** campsite is located 5 minutes from Montaigu in the Vendée and 25 minutes from the famous PUY DU FOU park. This is a culturally rich region where the values of solidarity and remembrance are deeply rooted. The various historical and cultural sites bear witness to this: Historial de la Vendée, Logis de la Chabotterie, Château de Tiffauges, Haras de la Vendée... These jewels of the Vendée offer ever more dynamic activities and events for all ages.
The Vendée is also renowned for its climate and magnificent beaches, of which we're never far away (around 1 hour).
Last but not least, the Vendée has a number of local specialities that are not to be missed: the Trouspinette, the brioche Vendéenne or the Préfou!
Spacious and modern, the Lodge Victoria is the ideal accommodation for a stay close to nature in complete freedom.
The Lodge has no heating and no water supply, but communal sanitary facilities are just a few meters away.
Arrivals are from 3pm to 7pm (April to June and September) and from 3pm to 8pm (July and August), and departures before 10am.
