Property for exclusive use
Ancient farmhouse, surrounded by olive trees and terraced gardens, located in the Bibbione castle. The castle dates from the 11th century, while the stone houses in the village date from the 13th century. The property, acquired in the 16th century by Niccolò Machiavelli, has recently been restored by his descendants, the Marquis Rangoni Machiavelli. The villa enjoys a splendid view over the countryside. Welcoming and bright, the villa is equipped with all comforts, and the furnishings include period pieces and antique Kilim rugs. The outdoor spaces (4 ha) and swimming pool (5x10) (01/05-30/09 open from 9.00 to 20.00) are well maintained and equipped. The villa's location makes it easy to organize day trips to Florence, Siena and Arezzo, thanks to the expressway connecting the towns, which is 2 km down the valley. To be requested on booking and paid for on site: cook, domestic help (overtime), driver, babysitter, breakfast service, guided tours, cooking classes and wellness center.
PLEASE NOTE: Arrivals between 3pm and 7pm; departures between 9am and 10am.
Pets are accepted for a fee (no access to the pool or communal dining room).
