Located not far from Hyères, in La Crau, in the Var region, 15 minutes by car from the beaches of Carqueiranne, discover the PRE-OPENING maeva Escapades le Hameau des Pins *** campsite. The establishment welcomes you to a 5-hectare estate in a quiet area shaded by, as its name suggests, its marvellous umbrella pines and eucalyptus trees.

Focus on the region: located in the heart of Provence, discover the must-see places of the Var. You'll be just a stone's throw from Toulon and Hyères, the Giens peninsula, the island of Porquerolles, Mont Fenouillet and the port of Carqueiranne.
For hikers and lovers of beautiful landscapes, Mont Fenouillet is a hike not far from La Crau, offering exceptional views over Hyères. The sentier du littoral (coastal path) is also a must, alternating between rocky cliffs, beaches and hillside undergrowth. This trail offers a breathtaking view of the Toulon harbor.
To fascinate your children and immerse them in history, head for the Cap Garonne mine, a site where you can don a hard hat and enter the bowels of the earth. The site is located at the summit of Cap Garonne, with panoramic views over the Iles d'Hyères and the Toulon harbor, and all around numerous hiking trails to discover more.
We recommend a visit to the aptly named village of Collobrières, surrounded by vineyards and chestnut groves. Start your walk in this pretty village of character, which has retained all its authenticity, by crossing the Pont-Vieux. Discover the heart of the village and stroll along its cobbled streets, enjoying a delicious chestnut ice cream.
