Welcome to the maeva Escapades La Parée du Both *** campsite! Located 1.2 km from the beaches, in St Hilaire de Riez, on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean and the national forest. This privileged location offers an idyllic setting for nature lovers and camping enthusiasts.
Maeva Escapades is an invitation to take the time to rediscover France and its destinations through the eyes of people who love their region.
Focus on the region: The proximity of the Atlantic Ocean is one of the advantages of camping La Parée du Both. Water sports enthusiasts will be delighted by the sport catamarans, windsurfing, paddle boarding, sand yachting and surfing, the fine sand ideal for lively beach volleyball matches, and the long, invigorating walks along the water's edge. Families can enjoy relaxing days on the beach, building sandcastles and soaking up the generous sunshine of the Atlantic coast.
You can venture out on cycle paths, mountain bike trails or hiking trails criss-crossing 1,500 hectares of freshwater plots, 350 hectares of salt marshes and 600 hectares of forests.
Among the many heritage tours on offer, you can discover the salt marshes. You'll also have the opportunity to see the Bourrine du Bois Juquaud (a French museum) in a protected natural site.
To ensure you have the best possible vacation, the campsite offers a number of leisure facilities, including an aquatic area with a heated indoor swimming pool and a relaxation area with artificial grass and deckchairs. It's also equipped with a slide and a paddling pool. Its dome opens according to the weather. A playground for children aged 0 to 15 with multi-sports pitch, trampoline, swing, wooden structure with slide and climbing net, games room with pool table and air pallet, as well as petanque courts, there's something for everyone.
During the summer school vacations, the campsite offers daytime and evening activities and entertainment: pétanque and soccer tournaments, aquatic activities, karaoke evenings, dance evenings, quizzes, bingo, etc.
We also offer a snack bar, open July/August, bank holiday weekends and spring school vacations. A la carte: dishes, pizzas, hamburgers, French fries, paninis, salads, crêpes, ice creams... Wifi access throughout the campsite (fee payable), laundry facilities and various rental options.
