House located Chemin du Fort in L'Aiguillon sur Mer, sleeps 4, overlooking the Lay, in a quiet location. It comprises a large living room with terrace access, equipped kitchenette (oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, etc.), 2 bedrooms, each with a 140cm bed, wardrobe and flat-screen TV, a shower room with toilet and a storeroom with freezer and sink. The nicely landscaped garden lets you enjoy your sunny vacation. WIFI in the house and air conditioning.
End-of-stay cleaning is the responsibility of tenants.

L'Aiguillon sur Mer marks the entrance to the Vendée department. Renowned for its Baie de l'Aiguillon nature reserve, which is part of the Marais Poitevin, its harbour, which is moored on wooden booms, is well worth a visit. It stretches along the Lay estuary. You'll find fishermen's huts where you can buy the day's catch.
As for l'Aiguillon sur Mer's beaches, the main and most popular is its lake, located in the town center next to the port. This is a seawater lake with sandy beaches on the downtown side. The area is supervised in summer, and it's on this stretch of water that you'll find the most activity. A few wilder beaches are available towards the Pointe de l'Aiguillon, but these are not supervised. They offer a beautiful view of La Rochelle, the bridge and the Ile de Ré. Nearby, the large beaches of La Faute sur Mer are very pleasant (2 km away).
