This detached house near the village of Les Eyzies is nestled in the woods at the end of a cul-de-sac in a small hamlet. On the ground floor, you'll enjoy a bright living room opening onto a south-facing, half-covered terrace. The room comprises a small living room (TV, wood-burning stove, WiFi), dining room and kitchen. You'll have access to the shower room with shower cubicle, washing machine and separate WC. Upstairs are two mosquito-screened bedrooms with a landing featuring a closet, chest of drawers and board games.
On the right, the beige bedroom has a 140x200 bed. On the left, the bedroom is modular and can, depending on your needs, include 2 beds 90 x 190 or a king-size bed 180 x 190 (with mattress topper). On-site parking. Unenclosed 2000m2 garden on the edge of the forest. Bed linen and towels included. Cleaning at end of stay €80. Baby equipment on request: cot, high chair, potty, playpenLocated at Les Eyzies... on the edge of the forest, in a quiet, unoverlooked setting, this gîte offers an ideal setting right in the heart of nature.... You'll appreciate the relaxation and zenitude of the setting on your return from one of the many excursions on offer. Depending on the season, you're likely to see deer, squirrels, fawns and other forest animals roaming the garden. In September, you'll hear deer bellowing in the valley...
There's no shortage of local activities in the Vallée de L'Homme in the heart of Périgord Noir, including visits to caves, troglodytic dwellings and castles. Start your Tuesday morning with a visit to the local market in the town of Le Bugue (7min), and on Wednesdays you can take a trip to the medieval town of Sarlat, 25km from the gîte. There are also plenty of sporting activities in the area (hiking, cycling, horse-riding, canoeing, fishing, hunting, golf, hot-air ballooning...).
