Casa Il Sogno is a magical place where you can relax and rediscover a taste for the little things in the green Tuscan hills. Casa il sogno is situated in the ancient medieval village of Pietrabuona Castello, just a few minutes from the town of Pescia and a few kilometres from the most beautiful Tuscan cities. Relaxing, pleasant and regenerating for body and soul. If you are looking for a relaxing experience, our structure is just right for you.
Pietrabuona is located 4 km from Pescia and was an autonomous municipality until 1775. Its upper part, 'the Castle', still bears traces of the buildings that constituted the first defence of the entire mountainous area during the battles between the Florentines and the Pisans. The village is crossed by the Via Mammianese that connects our mountain to the Brennero state road. It can be considered 'the gate' that closes the valley.
What to see in Pietrabuona:
It was an important centre of the paper industry. It is home to the famous Paper Museum. The documentation centre on paper processing collects all the interesting material related to this topic, documenting the techniques and methods of processing that have marked the culture and history of this territory for centuries.
It is also possible to visit the ancient paper mills of Pescia, see period machinery still in working order and the equipment and tools used to make paper.
In the upper part of Pietrabuona, it is possible to admire the Castle, which still bears traces of the fortress and the buildings that defended the mountain area during the battles between the Florentines and the Pisans.
On arrival in the small square you can use the free parking space, and then walk about 150 metres to your accommodation.
Inside the house you will have the pleasure of admiring a careful choice of materials that seek to recreate a familiar and intimate ambience in the best possible way.
It is arranged on 3 levels and can accommodate up to 6 persons. On the ground floor we find the large living room, the spa area with a 6-person Jacuzzi and the first bathroom. On the first floor we have the first double bedroom, which is very spacious, and the kitchen, which is equipped down to the last detail.
The house has air conditioning on the upper floors, while at the entrance you will have a natural temperature of 20° all the time, due to the location of the basement.
