Location
Gassin is located in the middle of the Saint-Tropez peninsula, perched on a rocky promontory less than 4 km from the sea.
The village has preserved its winding streets and picturesque old houses. Its geographical position is quite exceptional: it overlooks a landscape of vineyards, woodlands and the Gulf of Saint Tropez! From the terrace of the ramparts, you can see a magnificent landscape stretching from the Iles d'Or to the snowy peaks of the Alps, via the Massif des Maures. On the seafront, Port Gassin is emerging as a continuation of existing lakeside resorts: Port Grimaud and the Marines de Cogolin. The Templars left their mark here.
