The apartment's location is very well served: close to metro stations. Line 12 (Lamarck Caulaincourt) is a 5-minute walk away, and line 4 (Château Rouge) is an 8-minute walk. There's a bus stop 10 minutes' walk from the funicular that goes down to Anvers-Barbès Rochechouart, in the Pigalle-Moulin Rouge district.
The Montmartre district is also worth a visit, with the Sacré-Coeur Basilica just a 5-minute walk away. You'll find a lively shopping street with many food shops, including a Meilleur Ouvrier de France caterer, a bakery, a butcher and an organic greengrocer. Another shopping street, rue du Poteau, is just a 5-minute walk away.
The area is full of typical restaurants and cafés where you can enjoy delicious food. What's more, the apartment is just a 10-minute walk from the Abbesses district, where you'll find food shops and boutiques selling all the major Parisian brands. Rue Lepic is famous for its shops, as well as for its connection with the film "Amélie Poulain".

Location
The 18th arrondissement lies to the north of Paris and includes the districts of La goutte d'Or and Montmartre. The latter is one of the highest hills in Paris, and the view from the top is well worth the trip. L'église du Sacré-Coeur, Bastion de la Commune in the 19th century, Montmartre later became the district of many artists, including Picasso, Dali, Duchamp, Toulouse-Lautrec and many others. The 18th arrondissement is therefore highly contrasted, integrating ethnic islets with a bourgeois sector or the opposite. Boulevard de Clichy, near Place Pigalle, has many pleasant cafés and bars, giving the district a certain dynamism and respectability.
