Location
Bordering Paris, the commune of Vanves is located in the Hauts-de-Seine department, not far from Clamart and Issy-les-Moulineaux. France's eleventh most densely populated commune, it boasts an extensive public transport network, enabling visitors to discover the most beautiful tourist sites in the Paris region. The town's name comes from the Celtic word Venna, meaning "fish dam".
