Location
La Teste-de-Buch is a commune near Arcachon, in southwestern France. It's a seaside resort from which you can discover the famous Dune du Pilat, 110 meters high, which offers an incredible panorama of the Bay of Arcachon, the forest and the Cap Ferret lighthouse. As you stroll through town, you'll notice a number of old buildings, such as the Église Saint-Vincent and the Maison Verthamon, now the Hôtel de Ville, which lend the town a special authenticity and history. You'll also have the opportunity to discover the oyster port, where you can stop off to sample some delicious oysters.
