Back from California where I spent 25 years, I settled in Normandy. I chose this bocage region, which I remember fondly from my childhood in the Sarthe. I fell in love with this house and it was an obvious choice. This very old house had been in the same family for over 3 centuries. We undertook a total renovation that lasted almost 2 years. We wanted to enhance comfort and modernity while preserving the charm and authenticity of the old stones: the soul of the house. I enjoyed this immersion in a pastoral environment, taking an interest in nature through the seasons, the many birds, capturing images of sumptuous sunsets and the astonishing mushrooms of the Andaine forest. I love this generous space, the meadow planted with century-old trees, the south-facing facade and swimming pool. I'll be delighted to share this with my guests, to tell them what I know about the history of this house, to help them recharge their batteries and relax, while enjoying the simple charm, natural beauty and peace of this place.
