A little history:
Darwin Eco-système de la caserne Niel, more commonly known as "Darwin", is the name given to the rehabilitated former Niel military barracks in La Bastide, Bordeaux. It is a multicultural space, hosting businesses and associations, and offering catering and sports services.
Work on Darwin began in 2011. 10,000 m² of hangars are used for the skate park and urban farm. Finally, 5,000 m² are squatted, and he installs a BMX-park, a bike-polo and roller-derby field.
