Situated in the heart of the Val de Sully and in the center of Saint-Benoît-sur-Loire (a small town of character listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site), the gite offers an ideal starting point for lovely walks, bike rides, canoeing or paddle-boarding.... Just 700m from the banks of the Loire and 200m from the famous Benedictine abbey of Fleury.
The region's forests, castles, Orléans and other major sites in the Loire Valley are all within easy reach for a day of discovery.
Ideally located close to the shops, this charming, carefully renovated accommodation will appeal to lovers of the Loire Valley's heritage and nature. On the first floor, the gîte has an open-plan kitchen with access to the garden and a dining area for 3/4 people, with 2 small steps leading down to the living room for your moments of relaxation.
The first floor is accessed via a slightly steep staircase :-) and includes a small mezzanine, an independent bathroom with a large antique bathtub and WC, and a large 16m² bedroom with a 160x200 cm double bed, desk and closet.
(An extra bed 90x190 cm for 1 adult is also available on request).
Outside, a walled garden, sometimes shared with the owner, welcomes you.
Parking is free on the street, but 2-wheelers can enter the courtyard under cover.
All-inclusive rates: heating included, bed linen provided and beds made up on arrival, towels included and end-of-stay cleaning included.
OPTION+
If you feel like it, the owner will be delighted to open the doors of his stained-glass workshop (by appointment), where you can discover this fascinating art, or even try your hand at it! The accommodation is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.
