The first-floor balcony apartment is reached via an exterior staircase. On the balcony, guests will find a dining table and chairs for dinners al fresco or just enjoying the peaceful surroundings, for which they also have sun loungers on a delightfully bright solarium/terrace. Inside, the air-conditioned apartment has a compact open-plan living area, furnished with a sofa, a large flat-screen TV, a dining table and chairs. Location
The apartment is just a 20-minute stroll to the pretty sandy beaches of Porto Cesareo, some of which are Spiaggia Libero Scala di Furno and Lido Le Dune. The resort’s also has a lively nightlife, and its picturesque marina close to bars and restaurants is just a 6-minute drive away. The town’s weekly market (Thursday) is the best place to find the finest local food, including olive oil and a variety of cheeses. Also close by is Torre Lapillo, which has stunning beaches, perfect for families with children.
Further down the Ionian coast, the historic town of Gallipoli (35 minutes) is a very popular tourist destination during the summer months. In Greek, Gallipoli means “beautiful city” and the town does not disappoint. The town’s ancient walls soar over the harbour and fishing port. There is a daily fish market where if you go early you can pick up the freshest catch of the day.
The closest airport is at Brindisi - just under an hour away by car. The closest bus stop, Villagio Solaria, is a 15-minute walk from here.
