The garden is fully enclosed and has two private parking spaces at the rear of the house. It has been fully restored and offers all the necessary comforts. Bed linen, towels, household linen and electric heating are included in the price. Completely on one level, it comprises: living room and open kitchen, 1 bedroom with 1 bed 1.40 m + TV, 1 bedroom with 2 beds 0.80 m (can be twinned into 1 bed 1.60 m) + TV, shower room (with washing machine), separate toilet. Non-smoking accommodation. Pets not included: €70/pet. The Gîte de Montgenet is located between Chambord and Cheverny, 10 minutes from each of these two castles and 35 minutes from the magnificent Beauval ZooPark. It's also ideally situated for visiting the great castles of the Loire Valley (Château royal de Blois 20 minutes away, Amboise 40 minutes, Chenonceau 45 minutes). You can also take advantage of the local gastronomy, with the Vignobles de Cheverny and the strawberries and asparagus of Sologne. Situated on the edge of forest estates, the location is also ideal for listening to the stag bellow from late August onwards, and for cycling (nearby trails and the Loire à vélo route). The town of Bracieux is just 3km away, with all local shops: bakery, butcher's, tobacconist, chemist and doctors. Set in a typical Sologne house, our gîte will charm you with its exposed beams and old floor tiles. It is located in a quiet street, away from the main road.
