Location
The 14ᵉ arrondissement is a large area that is largely residential, yet includes some of Paris's most famous attractions. The 14ᵉ is the tower, the train station and the Montparnasse cemetery. It's also the neighborhood of the Catacombs, cheerful Denfert-Rochereau, rue Daguerre, its cafés and small boutiques. The apartment is located in a typically Parisian mini-quartier that was the stronghold of many famous painters. Yves Klein lived one floor above us, and the last scene of Godard's classic "A bout de souffle" takes place right outside our front door.
