Our gîte, completely renovated in 2012, combines comfort and character, offering an exceptional view of the Valensole plateau and the Southern Pre-Alps. Take full advantage of the garden and swimming pool, and discover the sporting and cultural activities on offer nearby.

Nestled in the heart of the Valensole plateau, in the serene land of Haute-Provence where lavender fields stretch as far as the eye can see, this holiday home warmly welcomes you all year round. Listed in the general inventory of monuments and artistic treasures of France, this residence has been lovingly and passionately restored over a period of eight years, reflecting both the challenges overcome and the immense satisfaction of reviving a precious piece of history.

The Bergerie, nestled amidst 120 hectares of truffle groves, enjoys a privileged location on the outskirts of the charming hamlet of Saint-Grégoire, on the ancient transhumance route used by the herds from Arles.

It's an exceptional place, where serenity, authenticity, and an extensive panoramic view reign supreme, stretching from Sainte-Baume to Dévoluy, passing through Luberon and Verdon. Discover this often-overlooked Provence, with its exceptional climate offering more than 300 days of sunshine per year, and its remarkably clear sky, a true paradise for astronomy enthusiasts.

Located on the Valensole plateau, at the entrance of the Saint-Grégoire hamlet, La Bergerie bears witness to centuries of surrounding history, dating back to the Neolithic period. Surrounded by lavender fields and oak truffle trees, it offers breathtaking views of Mount Lure, the Pre-Alps, Mount Chiran, Sainte-Baume, and even Mont Ventoux on clear days.

Within this tranquil domain, relax in the garden or by the pool, indulge in a multitude of sports activities such as hiking, cycling, or horse riding, or explore the cultural riches of this beautiful region.

Completely restored in 2012, La Bergerie welcomes you all year round. With a surface area of 120 m², this dependency offers an exceptional view of the garden and beyond, over the Valensole Plateau and the Southern Pre-Alps, from Pic de Bure (91 km) to Verdon. Functional and very comfortable, it can accommodate up to five people.

Indoor facilities:
On the ground floor, discover a lounge-dining room set in a large vaulted room of 58 m², equipped with a stove, television, and Wi-Fi. The fully equipped kitchen includes an electric oven, ceramic hob, extractor hood, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. Separate toilets complete this level.

Upstairs, two bedrooms await you: the first with a 160×200 cm bed, the second with three beds of 90×200 cm, all equipped with duvets. You will also find a large bathroom with walk-in shower and double washbasins, as well as separate toilets.

We provide bed linens and bath towels for your utmost comfort.

For families with children, we offer a range of additional equipment to make your stay more enjoyable, including a crib, high chair, booster seat, baby rocker, bathtub, changing mat, child-friendly dishes, bottle warmer, and potty.

Outdoor facilities:
Outside, enjoy a private garden with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. The family pool is available from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm and from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm, open from mid-May to late September (weather permitting). Parking is also provided for the convenience of our guests.
