Gentilly is a town on the outskirts of Paris, served by RER line B, which provides easy access to downtown Paris. The nearby T3a tramway takes you to Paris Expo Porte de Versailles and the convention center, which hosts a number of trade shows each year, including the Salon de l'Automobile, the Salon de l'Agriculture and the Salon 1re Vision. On foot, you're within easy reach of Stade Charléty, Maison des Examens and Parc Montsouris.
