This stunning duplex in the heart of Menton’s Old Town, can sleep up to 6 people. On the 2nd and 3rd floors, the apartment is blessed with panoramic views both of the mountains and out over the town to the sea beyond. It is the perfect combination of vibrant city life with the beach and suits friends or family looking for an exciting holiday on the Côte d’Azur.

Starting with the top floor, guests will fall in love with the stylish architecture of this apartment. The upper storey nestles under the wooden eaves, with exposed beams and skylights. There is a glass wall with a door that leads out to the beautiful terrace. The terrace is partially shaded as the wooden roof extends outside. The balcony is furnished with a dining table and chairs, for relaxed meals al fresco, looking over the rooftops of Menton.

Back indoors, the upstairs living area is furnished with a contemporary sofa, a large flat-screen TV and a café style table and chairs. Open stairs lead down to the entry-level.

The front door opens into another light-filled living space. There is a sofa, a large flat-screen TV and a dining table and chairs. The open-plan kitchen is separated from the dining area by a half wall. It is equipped with an induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine and fridge.

Location
The beautiful town of Menton is known for its temperate climate, exotic gardens, culture, beautiful beaches and the Medieval Old Town. It lies between Monaco (30 minutes) and the Italian border (10 minutes) and has all the charm of the French and Italian Rivieras.

Located in the middle of the Old Town, just behind the magnificent Baroque Basilica of St Michel Archange de Menton, the duplex is close to many amenities such as restaurants, cafés, bakeries and a supermarket, just 2 minutes walk from the front door. For the best local produce, head to the covered market, Le Marché des Halles, on Quai de Monleon (5 minute walk). Every day of the week you can find the finest regional food including cheese, fish, charcuterie etc.

The city beach - La Plage des Sablettes is just a 3 minute walk from the apartment, so ideal for a morning swim or a day by the sea. It is next to the Vieux Port de Menton (the old port) where you can find some of the world’s most expensive yachts.

Nice airport is just 40 minutes away. Alternatively, Menton railway station is a 12-minute walk.
